It all began in the 1950s when Grandparents Filippo and Mentana opened a bakery, then run by their daughter Maria with her husband Gastone, who also opened in 1976 at Lido di Spina (FE) the Le Pasticceria Le Perle, Emilia Romagna.
The fragrances of bread, croissants, creams accompanied the childhood of Fabio and Manuele Gardini. After the studies, the family passion took over and in 1987, in a small Forlì lab, they started a new adventure in the fascinating world of chocolate.
The name chosen, "The Artisan", was already an explanation of their approach to this world. Craftsmanship is in fact, for Fabio and Manuele, an absolute value constantly pursued in over twenty years of activity.
There is no automatic production line in the company, and nothing is left to chance: from the careful selection of the finest cocoa beans to the processing of pure chocolate with spices and local produce up to the full manual packaging.
A rigorous choice that has rewarded the company and has led it to become one of the best known and appreciated artisan chocolates on the national territory and beyond.
