The sausage factory Lebon in Castellavazzo (BL) is a company founded in the mid- 50s with an activity of butchery. Even today Lebon produces sausages and salami from Belluno Dolomites, with the aim of ensuring the quality of the meat used and the respect of the typical characteristics. Lebon operates with the intent to re-evaluate and promote, also outside of the Dolomite area, local products respecting the teachings of tradition: an aspect that made us immediately feel in tune.
Pitina di Pecora
An easier version of Pitina, made with mixed sheep and pig meat, covered with corn flour and smoked. The taste is round, long and delicately spicy. The aftertaste is
round, meaty with notes of smoke. Slice it in thin slices and served with bread. Excellent in a platter with some strong flavored cheeses like pecorino.
